Job SummaryMonocoque Pvt Ltd is looking for a motivated and technically competent Sales Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background to develop new business opportunities, manage customer relationships, and promote the company's engineering products and services. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and a passion for sales and business development.

• Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities in the mechanical engineering and industrial sectors.
• Generate leads and establish relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable engineering products and solutions.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, production, and procurement teams for customer requirements.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and purchase orders.
• Conduct customer visits, meetings, and technical presentations.
• Understand engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Maintain customer databases and sales records using CRM software.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Coordinate with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and after-sales support.
• Qualifications & RequirementsB.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, industrial sales, or mechanical engineering.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge and sales aptitude may also be considered.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering products and industrial applications.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development.
• Strong customer relationship management and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred SkillsExperience in industrial equipment, manufacturing, fabrication, piping, or engineering products.
• Knowledge of technical and commercial quotation preparation.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
