Senior BIM Faculty
Company: BIM Cafe Learning Hub
Location: Kochi, Kerala

About the Role
BIM Cafe Learning Hub, Kochi Centre is looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior BIM Faculty to join our academic team.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in BIM workflows, excellent software knowledge, and the ability to train and mentor students through practical, project-based learning.
The role involves delivering professional BIM training, guiding student projects, evaluating performance, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our academic programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct practical and project-based training sessions in BIM and related software.
* Train students in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and other relevant AEC/BIM software.
* Explain real-world BIM workflows, modelling standards, documentation and coordination processes.
* Guide students through industry-oriented BIM projects and assignments.
* Review student models, projects, assignments and portfolios.
* Prepare training materials, exercises, assignments and assessments.
* Monitor student performance and provide constructive technical feedback.
* Mentor students and help them develop industry-ready BIM skills.
* Handle technical queries and provide academic support to students.
* Contribute to curriculum development and improvement of training programs.
* Coordinate with the academic team to ensure consistent and high-quality training delivery.
* Support junior faculty members when required.
* Stay updated with current BIM tools, workflows, standards and industry practices.
Required Skills & Experience
* 3–5+ years of relevant industry experience in BIM, Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Strong hands-on knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows.
* Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks.
* Knowledge of software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, Lumion, Twinmotion or other AEC software will be an added advantage.
* Practical experience working on real-world BIM projects is highly preferred.
* Previous teaching, training or mentoring experience is preferred.
* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
* Ability to effectively mentor students and explain complex technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
Educational Qualification
Diploma / Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in:
* Civil Engineering
* Architecture
* Architectural Engineering
* or a related field
