Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Network & Infrastructure Trainee who wants to build a career in networking, Linux administration, Docker/containerization and DevOps infrastructure.

The candidate will work with the technical team on infrastructure monitoring, network troubleshooting, Linux servers, Docker-based applications and basic cloud/DevOps environments.

Required Skills

Networking

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP and OSI model
• IPv4, subnetting and routing fundamentals
• DNS, DHCP, NAT and HTTP/HTTPS
• VLAN and switching fundamentals
• Basic firewall concepts
• Network troubleshooting using ping, traceroute, nslookup/dig, netstat/ss etc.

Linux

• Basic Linux administration
• SSH
• Users, groups and permissions
• Processes and services
• systemctl and journalctl
• File system, disk and memory troubleshooting
• Basic shell commands and scripting
• Understanding of Linux logs

Docker

• Understanding of containers and images
• Dockerfile
• Docker Compose
• Docker volumes
• Docker networks
• Port mapping
• Container logs and troubleshooting

Additional Skills – Advantage

• Git/GitHub
• Bash or Python scripting
• YAML/JSON
• CI/CD fundamentals
• AWS/Azure basics
• Terraform/Ansible basics

Education

B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA/B.Sc. Computer Science/IT or equivalent qualification.

Candidates with relevant certifications such as CCNA, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes or Cloud will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

A fresher with CCNA + Linux fundamentals + basic Docker knowledge would be an ideal candidate. Kubernetes, Cloud, Python/Bash and CI/CD knowledge will be considered an additional advantage.
