# Job Description: QA/QC Engineer – Civil

### Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to monitor and ensure quality standards across civil construction projects, with a focus on piling and foundation works. Candidates with experience in river or marine construction environments are encouraged to apply.
### Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of piling, foundation, reinforcement, and concrete works.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor construction materials and coordinate laboratory testing as required.
- Implement QA/QC procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and method statements.
- Coordinate pile integrity tests, pile load tests, and other relevant quality tests.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, checklists, and quality documentation.
- Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, clients, and consultants on quality-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS codes and project-specific requirements.
### Required Skills
- Good knowledge of civil construction QA/QC procedures and inspection techniques.
- Experience in piling, foundation works, concrete testing, and material inspection.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of quality documentation and non-conformance reporting.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
### Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in civil construction QA/QC.
- B.E. in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- **Candidates with relevant experience in piling works in river or marine environments are encouraged to apply.**
- Experience in bridge foundations, marine infrastructure, or river-crossing projects will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work at Gandhidham, Kutch, Gujarat.
