Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Accounting: Record and verify daily transactions, invoices, receipts, and payments.
Voucher Management: Prepare and process payment, sales, purchase, and journal vouchers.
Vendor & Customer Management: Maintain ledger accounts, reconcile vendor/customer statements, and assist with timely payables and receivables follow-ups.
Banking Operations: Handle daily banking activities, bank reconciliations (BRS), and cash/cheque deposits or transfers.
Petty Cash: Manage petty cash transactions, maintain logs, and ensure periodic reconciliation.
Compliance Support: Assist senior accountants in preparing data for GST filing, TDS compliance, and monthly PF/ESIC payments.
Reporting: Maintain structured physical/digital records and assist in preparing monthly utility, expense, and financial reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance (freshers with strong practical training may apply).
Software Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and MS Office.
