Job Title: Field Sales Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Field Sales Executive to promote and sell our software products to potential clients. The role involves meeting customers in person, understanding their business needs, demonstrating software solutions, and closing sales. The ideal candidate should be confident, proactive, and comfortable working in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits, cold calls, and referrals
  • Meet potential clients to understand their requirements and present suitable software solutions
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features, benefits, and pricing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals to achieve targets
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, and sales activities
  • Coordinate with the internal sales and technical teams for smooth onboarding
  • Collect market feedback and competitor information
  • Follow up with clients for renewals, upselling, and cross-selling

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in field sales (software/IT sales preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain technical products in a simple manner
  • Good negotiation and closing skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office

Preferred Skills

  • Experience selling SaaS or enterprise software
  • Understanding of B2B and B2C sales processes
  • Self-motivated with a target-oriented mindset
