About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Client Accountant to manage accounting and tax requirements for a portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent English communication skills and the ability to independently manage client relationships.

Requirements

• CA or ACCA qualified
• 5–10 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting and taxation would be an advantage
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong client communication and relationship-management skills
• Good understanding of accounting software and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of client portfolios

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of clients
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts
• Handle VAT, Corporation Tax and other accounting compliance requirements
• Review bookkeeping, reconciliations and financial records
• Communicate directly with clients and resolve accounting queries
• Provide clients with practical accounting and tax guidance
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of client work
• Identify opportunities to improve client processes and accounting systems
• Coordinate with internal team members to ensure smooth service delivery
• Build strong, professional and long-term client relationships
