Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Production Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes of our shot blasting machine Dust Collector , Bucket elevator , Paint Booth , Screw Conveyor ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. This role involves everything from initial design review to final production and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning & Execution: Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Process Optimization: Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to identify and eliminate waste, reduce downtime, and improve overall shop floor efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Conduct in-process and final inspections of parts and assemblies, analyze defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and process-related issues during production. Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the design, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable and components are sourced efficiently.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed production reports, technical documentation, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and work instructions.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company standards on the production floor.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience: 3-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within machinery manufacturing
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes , welding, and mechanical assembly.
  • Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949).
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and use precision measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process enhancement.
