Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales & Field Service who will be responsible for customer visits, equipment/instrument installation, servicing, technical support, and basic sales activities. The ideal candidate should have basic technical knowledge of the manufacturing industry and be comfortable with fieldwork and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer sites for installation, servicing, inspection, and technical support.
- Install and commission industrial instruments/equipment as per requirements.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues and provide on-site solutions.
- Handle regular field visits and customer interactions.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical support.
- Support the sales team in identifying potential customers and business opportunities.
- Explain basic product features, applications, and technical specifications to customers.
- Prepare basic service reports, visit reports, and customer feedback.
- Coordinate with the internal team for customer requirements, service issues, and follow-ups.
- Maintain good relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Willingness to travel locally/within the assigned area for customer visits.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing/industrial processes.
- Basic understanding of industrial instruments and equipment.
- Knowledge of installation and servicing.
- Basic troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of sales and customer handling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in the field and travel for customer visits.
- Ability to learn new products and technical applications quickly.
