Job Description
Customer Support Executive – Solar Industry Key Roles & Responsibilities
Customer Communication
Handle customer enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email and office visits.
Explain solar system basics, project process, timelines, subsidy and financing procedures.
Maintain professional and timely communication with customers.
Lead & Enquiry Management
Receive and record new solar leads.
Follow up with prospective customers and arrange site surveys.
Update lead status and maintain customer records/CRM.
Order & Project Coordination
Coordinate between customer, sales team, engineering team and installation team.
Track quotation, advance payment, documentation, material dispatch and installation status.
Keep customers informed about project progress.
Subsidy & Documentation Support
Assist customers with required documents for applicable government solar subsidy schemes.
Coordinate documentation related to electricity department/DISCOM applications, net metering and commissioning.
Follow up on pending documents and approvals.
After-Sales Support
Receive and register customer complaints and service requests.
Coordinate troubleshooting, site visits and AMC/service requirements.
Maintain service records and ensure timely closure of complaints.
Customer Satisfaction
Obtain customer feedback after installation.
Maintain professional relationships with existing customers.
Support referral and repeat-business opportunities.
Reporting
Prepare daily/weekly reports of leads, follow-ups, orders, installations and service complaints.
Maintain accurate customer databases and communication records.
