Accountant

About the Role

Ambr home is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company's financial records, statutory compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting with at least 4 years of professional experience.

Candidates must have previous accounting experience in a construction company. Applicants from other industries will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily accounts, ledgers, bills and vouchers
• Handle purchase, sales, material and expense entries
• Manage contractor, labour and vendor payments
• Handle project-wise construction accounting
• Prepare project-wise cost and payment reports
• Track site-wise costs, expenses and budgets
• Handle contractor billing and material reconciliation
• Manage GST, TDS, bank reconciliation and taxation records
• Maintain customer payment and outstanding reports
• Coordinate with site teams, vendors, banks, CA and internal departments

Required Skills:

• Strong practical knowledge of construction accounting
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation and bank reconciliation
• Understanding of contractor billing and material reconciliation
• Strong attention to detail and record-management skills
