Job SummaryS.S. Controls is looking for a skilled and dedicated AutoCAD Engineer to prepare electrical control panel drawings, electrical schematics, panel layouts, and manufacturing drawings. The candidate will coordinate with the engineering, production, and project teams to ensure accurate drawings as per project requirements.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare electrical control panel drawings using AutoCAD.
2. Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuit drawings.
3. Prepare panel GA (General Arrangement) drawings, internal layouts, and component mounting drawings.
4. Prepare power and control wiring diagrams for PLC, HMI, MCC, PCC, and other electrical panels, as applicable.
5. Prepare cable schedules, terminal plans, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and other technical documentation.
6. Revise drawings according to client requirements and engineering feedback.
7. Coordinate with the production and assembly teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
8. Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable electrical standards.
9. Maintain drawing records and ensure proper document control.
10. Support the engineering team during panel manufacturing, testing, and final documentation.

• Required QualificationsDiploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
• Understanding of electrical circuits, control wiring, and electrical components.
• Knowledge of electrical control panel design and manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Required SkillsAutoCAD 2D drafting
• Electrical schematic and wiring diagram preparation
• Panel GA and internal layout design
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI, relays, contactors, MCBs, MCCBs, and terminal blocks
• Attention to detail and drawing accuracy
• Teamwork and coordination with production staff
• ExperienceFreshers with relevant technical knowledge may apply.
• Experienced candidates in electrical control panel design will be preferred.
