Job Summary

We are looking for skilled CNC & VMC Machine Operators responsible for operating CNC/VMC machines, setting up jobs, monitoring machining processes, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC and VMC machines as per production requirements.

Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.

Perform machine setting, tool setting, and job loading/unloading.

Select and change cutting tools as required.

Monitor machining operations and ensure proper machine performance.

Check finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.

Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

Identify machining defects and make necessary corrections.

Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.

Maintain 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards at the workplace.

Perform basic machine troubleshooting and report technical issues to supervisors.

Maintain production and inspection records.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations.

Ability to read engineering drawings.

Knowledge of measuring instruments and GD&T basics.

Understanding of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and offsets.

Basic knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi will be an advantage.

Good understanding of machining processes and quality requirements.

Ability to work in shifts.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Machinist, or related trade.

Relevant CNC/VMC operating experience preferred.

Disciplined and willing to work in a production environment.

Comfortable working in rotational shifts.
