Job Description

  • Read and understand engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and measurements.
  • Perform fitting, cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembly of metal components.
  • Fit and align structural components, plates, pipes, and metal sections as per specifications.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication equipment.
  • Assist welders during fabrication and ensure proper alignment before welding.
  • Check dimensions and ensure the quality of fabricated components.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean working area.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and production team to complete work within deadlines.
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication, fitting, and assembly work.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools.
  • Experience with grinding machines, drilling machines, and cutting tools.
  • Knowledge of fabrication tools, equipment, and safety practices.
  • Good teamwork, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
