Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily purchase, sales and other transactions accurately in Tally
• Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices and supporting documents.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare bank, supplier, customer and ledger reconciliations.
• Handle GST work: calculations, reconciliations, return preparation and timely filing.
• Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices and expense bills against supporting documents.
• Maintain records of cash transactions, petty cash and business expenses.
• Conduct monthly and annual internal audits and support statutory audits when required.
• Identify discrepancies and work with the relevant departments to resolve them.
• Prepare monthly accounting reports for management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Hands-on experience with Tally.
• Good knowledge of GST, GST returns and reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel for reconciliations and reports.
• Sound understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to keep financial information confidential.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Languages:

• Telugu: Mandatory
• English: Good spoken and written communication
• Hindi: Preferred

Preferred Candidates: Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food products, sweets, namkeen or beverage companies will be an advantage.
