Accountant

Accountant (E-commerce & Finance) — Accountant will be responsible for the full accounting and compliance function of the business, with a strong focus on e-commerce marketplace operations.

The role covers day-to-day bookkeeping, vendor payments, GST and statutory compliance, payroll preparation, and the reconciliation and profit analysis of sales, returns and settlements across all online marketplaces.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across Tally, Excel and multiple seller panels.

Key responsibilities

Bookkeeping & accounts payable

•        Maintain complete books of accounts with branch-wise entries.

GST compliance

•        Prepare the GSTR-1 working for e-commerce sales

•        Perform proper GSTR-2B reconciliation

Statutory compliance & payroll

•        Prepare TDS challans and make TDS payments within due dates.

•        Process ESI payments as per statutory requirements.

•        Prepare salary

E-commerce marketplace accounting

•        Review and interpret e-commerce marketplace ledgers.

•        Carry out profit analysis across products and channels.

Required skills & knowledge :        

Advanced Excel — expert-level command of formulas, lookups, pivot tables and large-data handling is essential for reconciliation and analysis.

Tally ERP / Prime — strong working knowledge, including importing entries from Excel via TDL.

GST — practical knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-2B reconciliation, e-commerce TCS, and the GST portal.

Qualifications & experience :       

Education: B.Com

Experience: 2+ years in accounts and compliance, preferably with an e-commerce, retail or manufacturing business.
