Job Description

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals as per standardized recipes and production plans

Perform basic cooking tasks such as chopping, cutting, marinating, and portioning

  1. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
  2. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in line with food safety standards (HACCP, FSSAI, etc.)
  3. Support senior chefs (Chef de Partie, Sous Chef) in bulk food production
  4. Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and prepared food
  5. Monitor stock levels and report shortages or wastage
  6. Follow safety procedures while handling kitchen equipment and tools
  7. Assist in receiving and inspecting raw materials and supplies
  8. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown
