Role Summary

The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurate and timely preparation of laboratory test reports, data entry into designated systems, and maintaining records as per internal standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires good typing skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of documentation processes within a testing and calibration environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter laboratory test results into LIMS/Excel or prescribed formats with high accuracy.
• Prepare and format laboratory test reports as per approved templates and standards.
• Maintain, update, and organize test records, reports, and data logs systematically.
• Check and verify recorded data to ensure completeness and correctness before final submission.
• Coordinate with laboratory analysts/scientists for missing or unclear data.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of client data and laboratory information.
• Assist in report generation and printing for client dispatch.
• Ensure timely data availability for audits, internal reviews, or regulatory inspections.
• Perform basic administrative tasks related to documentation and data management.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong typing and data entry skills with excellent accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines with minimal errors.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 10+2 or Diploma in Computer/IT
• Preferred: Graduate in any discipline
• Experience in a laboratory environment will be an added advantage.

Work Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in data entry or documentation role (preferably in testing/calibration/QA environment)

As per company standards.

Work Timings

09:30AM to 07:00PM (Monday to Saturday)
