Position: Caregiver Assistant (GDA) for the Elderly 

Locations:   Delhi/NCR    

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Homecare Assistant to provide high-quality daily support and companionship to elderly clients in their homes. Your primary goal will be to help seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Living Support (ADLs): Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Companionship & Emotional Support: Engage in meaningful conversations, reading, light activities, and accompany them on short walks to prevent isolation.
• Understand dietary needs: Provide meals tailored to the client’s dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Medication Reminders: Ensure the client takes their prescribed medications on time (non-administration).
• Errands & Escort: Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social visits.
• Status Reporting: Observe and report any changes in physical health, mental awareness, or behavior to family members or the care coordinator.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Home Health Aid (HHA) or Caregiving is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience working with seniors or in a similar domestic care setting.
• Deep empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of elder safety, fall prevention techniques, and first aid.
