Job Description
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen, service area, and back-of-house areas.
- Wash, clean, and sanitize plates, glasses, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and other equipment.
- Ensure all cleaned utensils and crockery are properly dried, stored, and readily available for service.
- Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized at all times.
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining hygiene and cleanliness as per restaurant standards and food safety guidelines.
- Clean kitchen floors, work areas, sinks, counters, and other designated areas regularly.
- Ensure the service area, tables, counters, and surrounding areas are clean and presentable.
- Dispose of garbage and waste appropriately and maintain proper segregation wherever applicable.
- Refill and maintain adequate stock of cleaning materials, detergents, and other hygiene supplies.
- Assist the restaurant team with basic cleaning and housekeeping activities during pre-opening, operations, and closing.
- Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards of the restaurant.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for guests and employees.
