Industrial Tailor

An “Industrial Tailor” is responsible for stitching, assembling, and finishing textile or fabric-based components used in product manufacturing. The role ensures high-quality stitching, accuracy in measurements, and timely completion of production tasks.

• Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch fabric components as per product specifications.

• Cut, stitch, and assemble textile materials according to production requirements.

• Ensure stitching quality and accuracy in measurements and finishing.

• Repair or rework defective stitching when required.

• Maintain sewing machines and report any maintenance issues.

• Ensure proper handling and storage of fabrics and materials.

• Follow production schedules to meet daily output targets.

• Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards.

• Work closely with the production team and line leader for smooth operations.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

• Assist in training new tailors if required.

• Perform other tasks assigned by the reporting manager.
