1. Job SummaryThe Picker Packer is responsible for accurately picking products from designated storage locations, packing customer orders, and ensuring timely order processing while maintaining quality, hygiene, and inventory accuracy.

• 2. Key ResponsibilitiesPick products according to customer orders received through the order management system.
• Verify product names, quantities, sizes, and other order details before packing.
• Pack products securely and appropriately to prevent damage or leakage during delivery.
• Check product quality, expiry dates, and packaging conditions before dispatch.
• Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices are followed wherever applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of picking and packing areas.
• Coordinate with inventory and operations teams regarding stock shortages, damaged products, or discrepancies.
• Ensure orders are processed within the assigned turnaround time (TAT).
• Follow company SOPs, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
• Support stock replenishment and inventory management when required.
• 3. Required SkillsBasic reading and counting skills.
• Attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good time management and teamwork.
• Basic smartphone or order management system knowledge.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle products safely.
• 4. Educational QualificationMinimum: 10th pass preferred.
• Freshers can apply.
• Previous experience in retail, warehouse, e-commerce, grocery, or dark store operations is an advantage.
• 5. Working ConditionsShift-based duty as per store operational requirements.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Compliance with store hygiene, safety, and attendance policies.
• 6. Performance Parameters (KPIs)Order picking and packing accuracy.
• Orders processed within the defined TAT.
• Product quality and expiry-date compliance.
• Productivity per hour.
• Reduction in picking and packing errors.
• Compliance with SOPs and hygiene standards.
