Tandoori Chef

Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tandoori Chef to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing authentic tandoori dishes and be passionate about delivering high-quality food consistently.

• Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of tandoori dishes including breads (naan, roti), kebabs, tikkas, and grilled items using the tandoor.
• Ensure food is cooked and presented according to the restaurant’s standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, especially around the tandoor oven.
• Monitor inventory of tandoori ingredients and place orders as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and assist in other Indian cuisine preparation if required.
• Maintain proper temperature and control while operating the tandoor.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
• Requirements:Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Tandoori Chef in a reputed restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of Indian spices, marinades, and tandoor techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and team spirit.
• Passion for food and attention to detail.
