Lead Analyst, Commercial Lending Operations
A team lead accountable for the overall delivery, quality and governance of commercial lending operations support for a US-based bank, covering CRE, construction and C&I loans. You will oversee the analyst team, act as the primary escalation point for the bank, and run the engagement day to day.
Roles and responsibilities
- Lead the team across CRE, construction and C&I workstreams: work allocation, SLAs, quality and productivity
- Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for the bank's operations and business stakeholders
- Own KPI and KRI reporting, and run regular governance and status forums
- Plan capacity, forecast volumes and manage resourcing, onboarding and performance
- Oversee control adherence, audit and regulatory readiness, and resolution of complex exceptions
- Drive process improvement, automation and standardization of procedures across workstreams
- Manage knowledge transfer, backup arrangements and business continuity
- Coach Senior Analysts and Analysts and ensure consistent working standards
Experience and qualification
- 8 to 12 years of experience in commercial lending operations, including at least 3 years leading a team
- Strong understanding of CRE, construction and C&I loan servicing and controls, with familiarity with LaserPro, Built and Capital Stream
- Proven experience managing stakeholders and delivery for US or global banks
- Degree in finance, commerce or a related field; MBA, CA, CFA or equivalent preferred
- Strong judgment, communication and people leadership skills
