We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Mercer (Wealth Operations - ANZ). This role will be based in Gurgaon DLF office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office
Manager – Treasury (D2)
Shift - 2:30 AM to 11:30 AM
What can you expect?
We are looking to hire Manager -D2 in ANZ (Treasury : Finance Operations).
The role will be responsible for the day-to-day Treasury Team processes, including member payments, custodian activities, telegraphic transfers, investments and redemptions, bank entries, Oracle invoices, and other invoice payments. The responsibilities also include monitoring and implementing Treasury payment controls and procedures for all Superannuation Administration clients in Australia and New Zealand.

Technical
- Detailed knowledge and experience of Bank and GL reconciliations
- Well versed with Invoice processing and Journal entry preparation and posting
- Well versed with advanced excel use and systems like Oracle R12
- Knowledge of Quality tools like Kaizen and Lean are good to have
- Knowledge of Superannuation and legislation like Protect Your Super and Putting Members' Interest First
- Strong leadership, People management and client management skills
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
- Strong communication and influencing skills as role has extensive dealings with external clients
- Team player able to work with and through others
- Sound judgement and ability to make appropriate and timely decisions
- Strong time management skills
- Strong SLA management and good knowledge/experience in Project Management
- Effective and accurate reporting skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Lead and Guide
- Act as the subject matter expert in performing Account Payable and Treasury Payments Day to day process.
Note: Applicants should be ready with Australia night shift (02:30 AM – 11:30 AM)
What you need to have:
Knowledge & Skills:
- Committed to quality service with a strong customer focus and effective client management.
- Possesses detailed knowledge of financial and fund accounting, along with operational experience
- Proficient in Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiar with Oracle R12
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and extended hours based on client requirement
- Capable of engaging with all organizational levels and possesses strong communication and influencing skills
- Demonstrates sound judgment, timely decision-making, and strong time management abilities.
- Experienced in SLA management and project management, with effective reporting and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Superannuation Administration systems and functional VBA Macros skills is a plus.
- Good communication, presentation, interpersonal, report writing, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Drive Ops excellence culture and lead transformational project(s) with clear visible and measurable impact
- Knowledge of quality improvement tools like Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Lean is beneficial
- Identify process improvements and apply lean principles to fuel innovation and growth
- Responsible for driving initiatives and ensuring results with a confined focus on timelines and quality
- 70% of production time to be spent on delivering daily tasks
- 20% time spent on Analysis and Rectification, governance frameworks and fixes
- 10% time spent on Improvement
- Ensure seamless client service delivery, including critical expectations like SLA, TAT and Accuracy
- Business and Client relationship management and enhancement
- Mentor and Coach team members
- Drive Ops excellence culture and lead transformational project(s) with clear visible and measurable impact
- Responsible for driving initiatives and ensuring results with a confined focus on timelines and quality
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a similar discipline
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably an experienced professional from Superannuation industry
