Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role includes managing software releases, ensuring the stability and performance of systems, and utilizing various tools and platforms to customize solutions. The engineer collaborates with different teams to maintain compatibility across systems while adapting features to align with organizational goals. Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving are essential to sustain seamless application operations and deliver consistent value to users.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to enhance user experience and system efficiency.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
- Experience with application lifecycle management and release processes.
- Familiarity with APIs and integration techniques for packaged and cloud applications.
- Knowledge of low-code platforms and their application in customizing software solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to maintain application stability.
- Strong understanding of software configuration management and performance tuning.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition.
- This position is based at our DDC5E - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
