ELV Technician

We are looking for a hardworking and technically skilled ELV Technician to join our team at Automent. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ELV systems, including CCTV, networking, access control, and other smart building solutions at client sites.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain CCTV cameras and surveillance systems.
• Perform wiring, cabling, cable laying, and cable termination.
• Assist with the installation of networking devices, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi systems.
• Install and maintain access control systems, video door phones, and other ELV equipment.
• Assist in installing home automation and smart building solutions.
• Read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Identify technical faults and perform troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with project engineers and supervisors for site activities.
• Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials at project sites.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain proper site documentation.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and cabling.
• Understanding of CCTV installation and networking.
• Knowledge of cable termination and troubleshooting.
• Ability to use basic electrical and networking tools.
• Willingness to travel to project sites within Guwahati and nearby locations.
• Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn.

Eligibility

• CriteriaITI / Diploma candidates in Electrical, Electronics, or related trades are preferred.
• Freshers with relevant technical knowledge can apply.
• Candidates with experience in ELV installation, CCTV, networking, or home automation will be preferred.
• Must be willing to work at client and project sites.
