Job Description
- Prepare and review GST, TDS and other statutory compliance as applicable.
- Conduct regular bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, including collections and vendor payments.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Assist in preparation of budgets, cash-flow statements and financial forecasts.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly and annual accounts.
- Review invoices, expense claims and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Track outstanding receivables and follow up for timely collections.
- Support internal and statutory audits and provide required schedules and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable financial regulations.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Provide management with financial information, MIS reports and analysis as required.
- Lead and supervise the accounts team, where applicable.
