AutoCAD Draughtsman - Interior Design / Modular Kitchen

Job Title: Draftsman (Modular Furniture & Cabinetry)

FURNIGENCE LLP is a growing engineering and drafting solutions company specializing in cabinet design, millwork, and modular furniture for international markets including the USA, Canada, and Australia.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Draftsman with a strong understanding of modular furniture design, measurements, and CAD software. The ideal candidate should be able to interpret architectural drawings and convert them into accurate, production-ready shop drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for modular furniture, cabinets, and millwork projects
• Read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings
• Ensure accurate measurements, dimensions, and material specifications
• Work with CAD software (AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, or similar tools) to create precise drawings
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to maintain drawing accuracy and standards
• Revise drawings based on client feedback and project requirements
• Maintain drawing quality in line with international standards (US/Australia/Canada)

Key Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of modular furniture and cabinet construction
• Excellent knowledge of measurements, units, and detailing
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of Cabinet Vision or similar software is an added advantage)
• Ability to read and understand technical/architectural drawings
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic understanding of materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes

Experience & Qualification:

• Diploma / BE in Civil, Mechanical, Interior Design, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience
