Purchase Executive

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal (Park Street / Dankuni)

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience: 2–4 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management & Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers. Maintain strong vendor relationships to secure quality terms and prices.

Quotation & Negotiation: Raise enquiries, collect quotations from multiple vendors, prepare comparative cost sheets, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines.

Purchase Order (PO) Management: Generate and process accurate Purchase Orders (POs) in compliance with company authorization policies.

Dispatch & Expediting: Coordinate closely with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery of ordered goods and materials.

Invoice & Document Verification: Verify incoming vendor invoices against POs, Delivery Challans, and Goods Receipts (GRN) before handing documents over to accounts.

Inventory Tracking: Coordinate with store keepers/inventory teams at Dankuni/Park Street to monitor stock levels and prevent material shortages or overstocking.

Compliance: Ensure vendor compliance with GST, E-way bill requirements, HSN coding, and company procurement standards.
