Grid 2 Chip Pvt. Ltd., is an AI infra enabler delivering Data Center critical infra solutions having a manufacturing facility for Secondary Fluid Network (SFN) system used in Liquid Cooling high density AI DCs. 

JOB PURPOSE:

To perform chemical laboratory testing, Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilize-in-Place (SIP) process support, and chemical passivation activities for stainless steel (SS) equipment and piping systems, ensuring strict compliance with quality, hygiene, safety, and process requirements.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform CIP and SIP operations for stainless steel piping, process equipment, tanks, and assemblies according to approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare, handle, and monitor chemical solutions used for cleaning, passivation, and surface treatments, specifically citric acid-based solutions.
• Conduct routine chemical testing, solution concentration verification, pH measurements, conductivity testing, and other relevant laboratory analyses.
• Closely monitor CIP/SIP process variables, including temperature, concentration, contact time, flow rate, and pressure.
• Perform or support citric acid passivation of stainless-steel components in accordance with customer specifications and approved procedures.
• Conduct pre- and post-passivation visual and chemical inspections; maintain precise records of chemical treatments and process results.
• Verify chemical concentrations and ensure proper preparation, labelling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, test reports, and chemical inventory documentation.
• Adhere to strict chemical handling procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, Safety Data Sheet (SDS) instructions, and workplace safety standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, production, and engineering teams to investigate process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• B. Tech in Chemical Engineering, B.Sc. in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with a Diploma / B.Sc. in Pharmacy or relevant pharmaceutical laboratory experience will be considered based on role requirements.
• Prior knowledge of stainless-steel passivation, citric acid treatment, CIP/SIP, or pharmaceutical cleaning validation is highly preferred.

EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in chemical laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturing, stainless steel fabrication, hygienic piping networks, or process-equipment manufacturing.
• Practical expertise in chemical analysis using pH meters, conductivity meters, titration setups, and solution concentration tests.
• Solid understanding of CIP/SIP protocols, citric acid passivation standards, chemical compatibility, and contamination control.
• Proven ability to maintain laboratory records, test reports, SOPs, and batch/process documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
