Creative Video Editor And Basic Videographer (Reels / Youtube Shorts)

Job Description----

We are looking for a highly creative and skilled Video Editor who can transform regular educational videos into engaging, professional, scroll-stopping Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

We frequently produce doctor-led educational content related to health and medicine.

We don't want someone who just cuts and joins videos. We want a creative editor who can turn an average video into an outstanding reel.

Key Responsibilities-----

• Edit engaging, high-retention Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Create powerful hooks within the first 2–3 seconds to capture viewers' attention.
• Use creative storytelling, smooth transitions, motion graphics, animations, captions, sound effects and B-roll footage.
• Suggest creative ideas to improve the quality and engagement of videos.
• Understand audience retention, pacing and current social media editing trends.
• Add relevant AI-generated visuals, graphics and animations wherever appropriate.
• Edit Telugu and English educational videos with accurate subtitles.
• Assist with basic camera setup, framing, lighting and audio during video shoots.
• Maintain consistent, professional video quality and branding.
• Independently manage editing from raw footage to final delivery.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar professional editing software.
• Knowledge of After Effects, motion graphics and AI video tools is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of Instagram and YouTube Shorts algorithms, trends and audience engagement.
• Basic knowledge of camera handling, lighting, framing and audio recording.
• Strong creative thinking, visual storytelling and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand Telugu and English content.
• Ability to work independently and deliver videos on time.
• Preferred CandidateMinimum 1–2 years of relevant video editing experience preferred.
• Previous experience editing high-quality Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.
• Creative, proactive and willing to experiment with new editing styles.
• Passionate about making educational content visually interesting and engaging.
