About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant who can independently manage the day-to-day accounting and compliance activities of the organisation.

The candidate should have practical experience in handling accounts from documentation and accounting entries through reconciliation, statutory compliance and regular follow-up, with minimal supervision.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records.
• Handle day-to-day accounting entries in the accounting software.
• Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for all transactions.
• Ensure books are updated regularly and accurately.
• Perform bank, customer and vendor reconciliations.

GST & Statutory Compliance

• Prepare data and coordinate for monthly GST returns and other applicable statutory returns.
• Ensure invoices and supporting documents are properly maintained.
• Reconcile GST data with books and relevant portal records.
• Coordinate with auditors/consultants wherever required.
• Track statutory compliance deadlines and ensure timely submission of information.

Receivables & Payables

• Maintain customer and vendor ledgers.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables wherever required.
• Track vendor payments and outstanding payables.
• Prepare ageing reports and highlight overdue balances to management.
• Reconcile customer and vendor accounts regularly.

Documentation & Records

• Maintain proper filing of invoices, vouchers, bank records, agreements and other accounting documents.
• Ensure accounting records are complete, organised and readily available.
• Maintain a clean audit trail for all transactions.

MIS & Management Support

• Prepare basic accounting and financial reports.
• Provide information required by management and auditors.
• Identify discrepancies or unusual transactions and bring them to management's attention.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• What We Are Looking For2–5 years of practical accounting experience.
• Candidate should have independently handled accounting activities in a company for a reasonable period.
• Good knowledge of GST and routine statutory compliance.
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally / ERP / other accounting platforms.
• Good understanding of bank, customer and vendor reconciliations.
• Experience in handling receivables and payables.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good follow-up and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Important RequirementWe are specifically looking for someone who can take ownership of the accounts function, rather than someone who only performs data-entry work.

The candidate should be comfortable handling the complete routine:

Documents → Accounting Entries → Reconciliation → Compliance → Receivables/Payables → Records → Reporting

Business-Specific PreferenceKompally – Modular Manufacturing: Experience in manufacturing, inventory, purchase/sales accounting and stock-related accounting will be an advantage.

Somajiguda – EPC Company: Experience in EPC/construction/project accounting, vendor management and project-related billing will be an advantage.

Bongloor – School: Experience in school/institutional accounting, fee collections, vendor payments and statutory compliance will be an advantage.
