Accountant

Job SummaryWe are hiring an Accountant for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day accounting activities, preparing reports, and supporting the overall finance and accounting operations.

The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial and accounting records.
• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up when required.
• Verify and process expenses and financial documents.
• Maintain proper documentation of accounting transactions.
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, and external accountants when required.
• Support audits and provide necessary financial records and documents.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
• Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Zoho Books, or similar tools.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
