Associate, Photo Operations

The Photo Operations Assistant is part of Photo Operations who fulfil pan-regional image requirements for content priorities including; publicity, marketing, on-air and discovery+. The Digital Image Assistant will focus on supplying images for DTC and VOD affiliates, ensuring high volumes of images are sourced and cropped and efficient operational output is maintained at all times. 

• Source, caption and resize imagery for non-linear platforms.20% 

• Retouch images when required and create series level images using photoshop 10% 

• Upload images to internal databases for distribution.20% 

• Liaise with VOD Operations and Scheduling teams to ensure images are delivered on time. 

• Maintain team schedule of images required and delivery deadlines.20% 

• Maintain the team image storage systems, ensuring all images are properly catalogued.10% 

• Assist with responding to internal and external VOD image requests 10% 

Qualifications & Experiences: 

• College or University graduate with limited but relevant experience; not necessarily in paid employment, or someone who has completed at least one year as an intern or in a similar role 

• Excellent English language skills 

• A strong attention to detail.   

• Ability to work to tight deadlines. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills. 

• Good team player with a positive can-do attitude. 

• Ability to manage and use specialized database systems. 

• Experience with Photoshop and Mac applications. 

• Experience with graphics would be an advantage 

• Experience with excel
