Job Description
Business Development Executive (BDE) – Strategic Partnerships & Growth
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for building long-term professional relationships with architects, interior designers, real estate agents, and allied ecosystem partners to generate consistent inspection leads and expand the reach of Handover Expert across cities.
This role focuses on partnership-driven growth
- Key Responsibilities
- Architect & Interior Designer PartnershipsIdentify and connect with architects, interior designers, and design studios across the city
- Build trust-based, long-term relationships
- Position Handover Expert as a value-adding partner, not a competitor
- Generate referral leads for home inspection and handover services
- Maintain regular engagement through meetings, calls, and follow-ups
- Real Estate & Channel PartnershipsEstablish connections with
Real estate agents & channel partners
- Property consultants
- NRI real estate pages, groups, and platforms
- Collaborate with these channels to generate:
- Buyer leads
- Pre-handover inspection enquiries
- Explore new growth avenues and partnerships proactively
- 📈 Business Growth & Market ExpansionIdentify untapped opportunities for business growth
- Represent the brand professionally in meetings, events, and networking forums
- Share market insights and partner feedback with the core team
- Support city-level and cross-city expansion initiatives
- 🧠 Relationship & CRM ManagementMaintain accurate records of:
- Partner details
- Meetings and follow-ups
- Lead sources and conversions
- Ensure structured follow-ups and relationship continuity
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth lead execution
- 🧩 Required Skills & Competencies✅ Must-Have SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build professional relationships with senior stakeholders
- Understanding of real estate, construction, or allied services (preferred)
- Consultative mindset (solution-oriented, not pushy sales)
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Willingness to travel across the city
- ⭐ Good-to-Have SkillsExperience working with architects, interior designers, or real estate ecosystem
- Basic understanding of residential construction and handover process
- CRM or lead-tracking experience
- Social media / community engagement exposure (NRI groups, pages, forums)
- 🎓 Experience & Education1–4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or relationship management
- Background in real estate, construction, services, or B2B sales is a plus
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
