Job Summary

The Center In-Charge will be responsible for the overall management and smooth functioning of the training center, including trainee coordination, MIS and documentation, trainer monitoring, attendance, assessments, placement-related activities, and compliance with project guidelines. The role requires strong coordination, communication, reporting, and computer skills to ensure successful implementation of the assigned skill development program.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day operations and administration of the training center.
• Coordinate with trainers, mobilization teams, candidates, assessors, and project management teams.
• Maintain trainee attendance, enrollment, batch details, assessment, certification, and placement records.
• Prepare and update MIS reports, daily/weekly/monthly reports, and project documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry and updating of information on relevant project portals/MIS systems.
• Monitor training sessions, batch schedules, trainer attendance, and center infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with NSDC/SSC/project-specific guidelines, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Coordinate assessments, certifications, inspections, audits, and monitoring visits.
• Maintain all physical and digital records required for project compliance and verification.
• Track trainee progress, dropouts, attendance, assessments, and placement status.
• Coordinate with management and other stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
• Support mobilization, counseling, onboarding, and retention of candidates whenever required.
• Ensure the center is maintained in a professional, organized, and audit-ready condition.
• Required Qualifications & SkillsGraduate in any discipline; relevant certification/diploma in Skill Development or MIS will be an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in MIS, Center In-Charge, Center Coordinator, or similar positions.
• Experience in NSDC, PMKVY, State Skill Development Missions, or other government/skill development projects preferred.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, email, and online MIS/portal systems.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and record-management skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage trainees, trainers, and center operations effectively.
• Ability to work with deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities.
