Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Solution Manager Change Request Management (ChaRM) and exposure to SAP Cloud ALM. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and support end-to-end ChaRM implementations, enhancements, process optimization, and governance across complex SAP landscapes. The consultant will also contribute to SAP Cloud ALM adoption and integration as organizations transition from SAP Solution Manager to cloud-based ALM capabilities.

The ideal candidate should possess deep technical and functional knowledge of ChaRM, transport management processes, ITSM integration, release management, and SAP landscape governance.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Solution Manager ChaRM (Primary Focus)

• Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP Solution Manager ChaRM.
• Configure and customize ChaRM processes including:
  • Normal Change
  • Urgent Change
  • General Change
  • Administrative Change
  • Defect Correction
  • Change Document Management
  • Release Management
• Design and implement ChaRM workflows based on business requirements.
• Configure transaction types, status profiles, actions, partner functions, approval procedures, and PPF actions.
• Configure CTS/CTS+ integration and transport management across SAP landscapes.
• Implement transport tracking, retrofit, task list management, and release cycles.
• Configure and support Quality Gate Management and Release Management processes.
• Perform BRF+ configuration related to change approvals and workflow automation.
• Integrate ChaRM with:
  • IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • Test Suite
  • Business Process Monitoring
  • Service Desk
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve ChaRM-related incidents and transport issues.
• Develop governance frameworks and best practices for SAP change and release management.
• Prepare solution design documents, configuration guides, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Support audits and compliance requirements related to SAP change controls.

  SAP Cloud ALM 

  • Participate in SAP Cloud ALM implementations and rollout initiatives.
  • Configure and support:
    • Implementation Monitoring
    • Health Monitoring
    • Integration Monitoring
    • Business Process Monitoring
    • Task and Project Management
    • Deployment Management
  • Assist organizations in defining migration strategies from SAP Solution Manager to SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Configure monitoring, notifications, dashboards, and reporting capabilities in SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis, Development, Security, and Functional teams for Cloud ALM adoption.
