As a Data Governance Practitioner, a typical day involves establishing and enforcing data governance policies that uphold the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to define and maintain data standards. The practitioner facilitates effective processes for data collection, storage, access, and usage, ensuring that data stewardship initiatives are driven forward to support comprehensive and effective governance across the organization. The role demands continuous engagement to align data management practices with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and mitigate risks related to data governance and compliance.
- Promote a culture of data accountability and quality throughout the organization.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering professional development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS BigData.
- Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Ability to design and implement data security and privacy controls.
- Familiarity with data lifecycle management and metadata management tools.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data strategies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in AWS BigData.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
