Technology->Cloud Platform->Power Platform->Power BI Technology->Data Engineering->Databricks Technology->Data on Cloud-DataStore->Snowflake Preferred Qualifications: • Experience designing lakehouse + warehouse coexistence patterns and selecting the right approach per workload. • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, semantic modeling, and enterprise KPI standardization for BI adoption. • Expertise in performance and cost optimization strategies for Snowflake and Databricks at scale. • Experience establishing platform best practices for reliability, monitoring, and operational readiness across data pipelines and BI assets. • Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of influencing architecture decisions across business and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise analytics platforms using Snowflake, Databricks, and Power BI. • Translate business requirements into scalable data architecture, integration patterns, and analytics designs. • Define reference architectures, design standards, and best practices for data modeling, performance, and governance. • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and design reviews to ensure high-quality delivery across teams. Data Platform Engineering (Snowflake & Databricks) • Architect and oversee implementation of Snowflake data warehouse solutions, including schema design, workload optimization, and cost governance. • Design Databricks lakehouse patterns for ingestion, transformation, and scalable processing aligned to enterprise needs. • Establish robust pipelines and data lifecycle practices to ensure reliability, observability, and maintainability. • Drive performance tuning across compute, storage, and query execution for both Snowflake and Databricks workloads. Analytics & BI Enablement (Power BI) • Define semantic layer and reporting architecture to enable consistent, trusted metrics and self-service analytics in Power BI. • Guide dashboard/report development standards, including performance optimization and user experience best practices. • Partner with business teams to ensure insights are actionable and aligned to decision-making workflows. Delivery, Stakeholder Management & Governance • Own technical delivery planning, estimation, and risk management for complex, multi-stream initiatives. • Collaborate with security and governance stakeholders to implement access controls, data governance, and compliance-aligned designs. • Communicate architecture decisions, trade-offs, and roadmap recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering/Computer Applications/Science (BTECH, MTECH, MCA, MSC) or equivalent. • 12–14 years of overall experience in data engineering, analytics platforms, and solution architecture roles. • Strong hands-on and architectural expertise in Snowflake and Databricks for enterprise-scale data solutions. • Proven experience delivering Power BI reporting/semantic models and enabling business-facing analytics. • Demonstrated ability to lead technical design discussions, mentor teams, and drive architecture governance.
