Commercial Electrician (Banking Sector) :

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems across our network of commercial properties and banking branches in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in commercial electrical infrastructure, with a deep understanding of the specialized, zero-downtime electrical needs of the banking sector (such as UPS systems, server rooms, and security systems).

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive & Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, distribution boards, panels, and lighting networks across various bank branches.
• Critical Power Management: Maintain and troubleshoot Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), diesel generator (DG) sets, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and central battery systems to ensure 100% operational uptime.
• Server Room Support: Ensure the electrical integrity and continuous cooling-power supply for critical IT/Server rooms and ATM vestibules.
• Emergency Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical faults, short circuits, and equipment failures rapidly to minimize disruptions to banking operations.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations comply with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, local Telangana state electricity regulations, and banking safety protocols.
• Vendor & Coordination Support: Assist external maintenance teams during major overhauls and coordinate with branch managers to execute repairs during non-banking hours when necessary.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: ITI Certification / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• License: Must possess a valid Electrical Supervisor or Wireman License issued by the Telangana State Electrical Licensing Board.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience as an electrician in commercial sectors (malls, IT parks, corporate offices), with at least 1–2 years handling banking or financial institution branches.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong expertise in three-phase wiring, LT/HT panels, and circuit breakers (ACB/MCCB).
• In-depth knowledge of UPS systems, battery banks, and synchronization of DG sets.
• Familiarity with low-voltage systems including fire alarms, CCTV networks, and access control systems is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong time management, and a high sense of responsibility toward data-sensitive environments.
• Mobility: Must be willing to travel to various branch locations across Hyderabad (Secunderabad, Gachibowli, Madhapur, Ameerpet, LB Nagar, etc.). Having a personal two-wheeler is highly advantageous.
