The Position

The Senior ERP Solution Consultant will be responsible for design and implementation of complex solutions in the area of SAP Finance. This role is based in the ERP Commercial Finance Management team, where we drive enterprise-wide digital transformation across interconnected systems. As an SAP ERP solution consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor, navigating highly ambiguous spaces to recommend and implement optimal technology solutions. The variety and scale of initiatives in this global domain offer you a unique opportunity to implement projects that shape a long term strategic roadmap in ERP Commercial Finance Management the area of Accounts Receiveable, Financial Supply Chain Management, Banking and Payment Service Provider Integration.

Description of the area

Job Responsibilities

• Scope: Responsible for designs and  solutions that meet product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards throughout the product life cycle in the area of Commercial Finance. Researches, evaluates, pilots, and drives the adoption of new technologies, while developing and maintaining the product's technology roadmap. Provides technical oversight, guidance, and consultation on specific technologies.

• Accountability/Problem Solving: Designing and implementing solutions with an impact at the process, organization, or product line level. Drives the successful completion of projects within or across products. Responsible for solving unusually complex, ambiguous problems and providing highly innovative solutions.

• Stakeholder Management: Interacts with global teams across multiple product lines or chapter cluster squads. Communicates complex concepts and potential solutions across the enterprise or multiple portfolios and negotiates with others to adopt different points of view. Expertly tailors messaging to different target audiences and chooses appropriate communication channels.

• Impact/Strategy: Acts as a key contributor and go-to person for important stakeholders in specific areas. Provides consistent leadership and impact on a number of major products and at the product line level. Serves as a role model in teamwork, driving strong collaboration across products/product lines and between Informatics and the business. Identifies opportunities to enhance value and business processes. 

• Business / Technical ability: Applies a proficient level of ERP Commercial Finance  business process domain knowledge and architecture practices. Applies in-depth and expert-level knowledge in technical principles in SAP S4 Finance, theories, and concepts related to requirements, data, usability, and process analysis, contributing to the development of new principles and concepts.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

• Demonstrated experience of designing and implementing complex ERP Finance solutions, especially in the area of Accounts Receivable, FSCM, Banking, PSP

• Demonstrated experience in working in complex ERP product teams and driving the successful completion of major project

• Proven track record of acting as a Product Owner in large products

• Informatics  and Accounting education and experience

Technical Skills

• Proficient level of ERP business process domain knowledge and architecture practices, specifically in the following areas:

  • SAP S4 Finance and Controlling

  • SAP S4 Accounts Receivable

  • SAP S4 Banking

  • Payment Service Provider Integration

  • SAP S4 FSCM

  • SAP BTP

• Deep expertise in Business Analysis  and consultancy capability in the area of ERP SAP Commercial Finance

• Expert-level knowledge in technical principles related to requirements, data, usability, and process analysis.

• Strong capability to design solutions, maintain product technology roadmaps, and drive the evaluation and adoption of new technologies.

Additional Qualifications

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging, negotiate and drive results.

• Proven track record as an identified role model for fostering collaboration between Informatics and business teams.
