Job Description
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and technically capable Home Automation Technician to handle the installation, wiring, configuration, testing and commissioning of smart home automation systems at residential and commercial project sites.
The candidate should have good practical knowledge of electrical wiring, smart switches, lighting systems and home automation technologies.
- Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure and commission smart home automation systems.
- Handle installation of smart switches, dimmers, relays, sensors and automation modules.
- Execute electrical wiring and automation-related connections.
- Understand electrical layouts and identify switchboard and automation points.
- Install and configure Zigbee, Wi-Fi and other wireless automation devices.
- Work with smart curtain motors, digital locks, video door phones and lighting control systems.
- Configure automation gateways, mobile applications and device integrations.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of automation systems.
- Coordinate with site electricians, interior designers and project engineers.
- Ensure proper installation quality and timely project completion.
- Required SkillsBasic to good knowledge of residential electrical wiring.
- Practical experience in electrical installations and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of smart home automation systems.
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi, Zigbee and wireless automation technologies.
- Familiarity with smart switches, sensors, relays and gateways.
- Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites within Hyderabad.
- Preferred QualificationsITI / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics preferred.
- 1–4 years of experience in electrical or home automation installation.
- Candidates with experience in KNX, Zigbee or other automation platforms will have an added advantage.
- Freshers with strong electrical fundamentals and a willingness to learn may also apply.
