About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Manager to lead the Derivative Confirmations organization in India.

This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and risk management across the documentation, confirmation, and settlement lifecycle for OTC Derivative products, including Credit, Foreign Exchange, Equity, Commodity, and Rates derivatives. The leader will oversee individual contributors supporting a diverse client base across multiple legal entities and product lines within Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB).

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Derivatives Operations with extensive knowledge of OTC Derivative products and trade lifecycle processes.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience managing and developing teams across multiple locations in India, with a focus on performance, engagement, and operational excellence.
• FINRA Series 99 certification or ability to obtain certification
• Strong expertise in Derivative Confirmations, Settlements, Documentation, and Operational Risk Management.
• Deep understanding of ISDA documentation, industry standards, and regulatory requirements impacting Derivatives operations.
• Experience leading operational transformation, process improvement, and technology-driven initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology, and Operations functions.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
