Jewellery Purchaser

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Jewellery Purchaser to manage the purchasing of gold, diamonds, silver, and other jewellery items. The candidate will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating prices, checking market rates, evaluating jewellery quality and purity, verifying weight and specifications, and ensuring purchases are made at competitive prices. The role includes coordinating with suppliers, maintaining good business relationships, monitoring market trends, verifying purchase bills and invoices, maintaining accurate purchase records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The candidate should have good knowledge of jewellery, gold rates, purity standards, pricing, and market trends, along with strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills. Previous experience in jewellery purchasing and knowledge of the jewellery market will be an added advantage. Honesty, attention to detail, and the ability to make cost-effective purchasing decisions are essential for this role.
