Junior Architect

Only B.ARCH degree holders. Not for B.Tech(Civil)

Our ideal candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Architect/Sr Architect in the Home Plans category, with strong communication, ownership, high levels of integrity, growth mindset and an obsession to drive results. As a Junior Architect, for the Home Plans Category, you will contribute to the creation of architectural masterpieces that enhance the built environment and prepare complete construction documents for the building plans content in the Home Plans Catalogue. The Junior Architect should keenly understand the latest trends. Success in this position will be determined by producing error free and timely building plans and construction documents. This position is highly collaborative, so maintaining communication with other departments and customers is important. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Development & Management

1. Create detailed plans for new construction projects, alterations and redevelopments ensuring they meet customer requirements and align with sustainability principles.
2. Prepare conceptual plans, blueprints, renderings, specifications and all construction documents by using specialist computer-aided design applications for the Home Plans Category.
3. Plan and program layout; coordinate and integrate engineering elements into a unified design for review and approval.
4. Prepare detailed document sets according to guidelines and checklists for content specifying quality, file size etc for upload onto the website.
5. Compile project specifications and must be able to complete technical drawings that will be used to present a project for approval.
6. Understand the vision of the Home Plans Category, and deliver innovative, aesthetic and functional designs within deadlines. 
7. Works in tandem with highly collaborative multidisciplinary teams.
8. Assists in research and coordination of materials and products as per project specifications.

SKILL SETS

1. Degree in Architecture with upto 12 months experience in an Architectural company..
2. Knowledge of software products such as Autocad and/or Sketchup Pro.
3. knowledge on Basic Vaasthu principles
4. Knowledge of any modelling products like 3DS MAX, VRAY etc...is a plus
5. Working/Internship in an architectural firm is a plus
6. Excellent design and drafting skills and proficiency in computer aided design.
7. Strong creative and visualization skills.
8. Keen listener, able to identify project needs.
9. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules.
10. Comfortable with ambiguity and spending time outside the comfort zone acquiring new skills.
11. COA registred is a plus
12. Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
13. 6 days a week in office from 9AM to 5PM
14. 6 months probation
