Kitchen Supervisor

The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory, maintaining kitchen equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Staff Supervision and Training:

2. Food Preparation and Presentation:

o Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

o Oversee the preparation of meals, ensuring timely and efficient service.

o Assist in menu planning and development, including new recipes and seasonal dishes.

3. Inventory and Supply Management:

o Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.

o Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items to prevent spoilage.

o Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.

4. Compliance and Safety:

o Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.

o Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure compliance with health codes.

o Address and resolve any safety or sanitation issues promptly.

5. Kitchen Maintenance:

o Ensure all kitchen equipment is in good working condition.
