Optometrist – Job DescriptionPosition: Optometrist
Experience: 0–3 Years
Qualification:DOA / D.Optom / B.Optom / M.Optom
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests.
- Perform refraction and prescribe spectacles/contact lenses as required.
- Identify common eye conditions and refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary.
- Provide guidance on eye care, vision correction, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Assist customers in selecting suitable frames and lenses when required.
- Follow clinic/store protocols and maintain professional standards.
Skills Required:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of optometry and refraction.
- Patient-focused and professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications are welcome.
