Packing Boy

• Pack breads, buns, puffs, pastries, sandwiches, cookies and other bakery products as instructed.
• Check product name, quantity and condition before packing.
• Use the correct packaging material for each product.
• Seal packets, containers and cartons properly.
• Apply product labels, date labels and other identification stickers correctly.
• Check MFG/Packed Date, Use By/Best Before, batch details and quantity wherever applicable.
• Arrange packed products customer-wise/order-wise for dispatch.
• Count finished products and ensure quantities match the packing/dispatch sheet.
• Inform the supervisor immediately about shortages, damaged products, incorrect labels or quality issues.
• Handle food products carefully to prevent contamination or physical damage.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO practices wherever instructed.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of packing tables, racks, crates, trays and packing equipment.
• Follow personal hygiene requirements, including clean uniform, hairnet/head cover and other required protective equipment.
• Wash and sanitise hands as required before handling food or packaging.
• Keep food-contact packaging materials protected from dust, moisture and contamination.
• Assist in loading packed products into crates/cartons and preparing them for dispatch.
• Help maintain packing material stock and inform the supervisor when materials are running low.
• Follow company food-safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.

Perform other packing and dispatch-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
