Job Description
Job Summary : The Picker/Packer is responsible for selecting products from inventory based on order sheets, preparing items for shipment, and ensuring orders are accurate, complete, and properly packaged. This role plays a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction and warehouse efficiency.
- Key Responsibilities : Pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists or handheld scanners
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product quality
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit
- Label packages correctly with shipping information
- Prepare completed orders for dispatch
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment when required
